Cut from a 3-layer ripstop shell that shrugs off sideways rain, the Ridgeline Anorak was built for the stretch of trail above the treeline where the wind stops being polite. A chest-mounted kangaroo pocket fits a folded map or a cold hand, and the storm hood cinches down with one pull so you're not fighting drawcords in a squall. We've been wearing prototypes since the Kestrel Pass trip two seasons ago and haven't found a reason to change the pattern.
